Hi There,

my name is Johannes (24) and I am from Minden Germany.
I am into sampled Music since some days now. It all started with Fatboy Slim and all kinds of remixes form Norman Cook.

One of the early samples which with I discovered that most of modern electronic music was "just" an new arrangment of old samples, was Just Brothers - Sliced Tomatoes.

I remember one side called samplespotter.com where have been lot's of samples listed but the site isn't online anymore. So after a while I restarted to search some sites with the topic songs and their originals. And one of them is the great inlounge.de

I don't really have a music talent. In music class my teacher always said: Now we try it again but please without Johannes (no Joke) but i would love to do some music myself.
So i figured we coul might do a interactive inlounge song so I could at least be a part of it... :-)

Through all the Originals I started to love the old music (Funk, disco, baia, northern soul, etc. ) and with them I think I found some good samples to use for housemusic.

Yes I already replied to it. Interesting stuff. For easier use I put up your samples on this site (see download section).

This file upload service site you first used just sucks... If you have new samples just send them over to mark©inlounge.de and I will put them up for you..

Gutentag Johannes

I've visited samplespotter too, and I've submitted some samples and sources too.
It's a pity the site is gone.

Meanwhile I've set up a website on which you can find and post samples/sources, and also everything you know about artists, daily facts in music, covers, ... too much to mention!

If you're interested you're always welcome to have a look around.
